It's be downright balmy at the market on Saturday!

Well, low 40s. But we'll take it!

We have another full house of vendors this week. If you missed our last market, and thus our two new vendors, River Valley Community Grain and La Trafila Pasta, worry not, they are back this week. La Trafila will be bringing xxxxxx. (waiting to hear back). Don't forget to try some of their sauces to go with their small-batch pastas.

It's so exciting to have flour (buckwheat, spelt, enkhorn) at the market again as well as local oats! Make sure you pick up some of River Valley Community Grains' granola and crackers, too. The crackers are divine with any Aya Hummus or smoked trout from Hudson Valley Fisheries.

Have you tried the kimchi bagel at The Good Witch? Soooo good! Make your own market version at home by picking up some kimchi from Forward Roots, queso fresco from McGrath Cheese Co. and seeded baguette from Bien Cuit. Inspired!

Raw Chocolate Love is now making HOT CHOCOLATE at the market using his pure cacao. Meanwhile, Luxx Chocolat is selling "smores campfire kits." It just might be warm enough to huddle around the campfire this weekend.

Right now we are busily planning the summer market behind the scenes. I'm happy to report that there will be artisanal ramen and soba noodles in your market future.

In the meanwhile, get some from your favorite source and make this soba soup with shrimp and greens with Sun Sprout Farm spinach or kale.

Some friends recently made us a lovely beef stew for dinner and I'd forgotten how delicious that can be. I went digging for a recipe to make myself and this Kerala-style stew is a top contender.

Handheld Kitchen and Leila's Empanadas will both be here so you can grab lunch for the fam post shop.

Don't forget to bring your clothing or textile discards to our GreenTree Recycling Bin! Please put them in a bag first.

See you at the market!

ps. Remember to donate to our food pantry and that you must wear a mask for the first hour of the market only.
