Market Cancelled

Dear Hastings Farmers Market shoppers,

As you know, our primary mission is to bring you fresh greens, produce and fruit that are grown locally.  Unfortunately, our fruit and produce vendors have been severely impacted by these frigid temperatures and many are unable to come to market tomorrow.  Even if they tried, their fruit and produce would freeze on the long drive to market.  Several other key vendors have also canceled because they do not want to put their staffers on icy roads early in the morning.

This, added to our mayor's and meteorologists' warnings of potential frostbite, have led to the decision to close the market tomorrow. Stay warm! We will be back on Jan. 20th.
