Pretty in pink!

Ok, we can play this game, too. 

Here are ten great things to enjoy at the market this week that are various shades of Barbie pink.

1. The beet lemon hummus at AYA Hummus – made with roasted beets, lemon, red wine vinegar, olive oil, spices. Light and airy. 

2. The fairy tale eggplant at Stoneberry and Sun Sprout Farm. Ok, technically they're more purple than pink, but Barbie and fairies go together like, well Barbie and Ken.

3. Botanical stationery with pink blossoms from guest vendor Hey There Paper Goods.

4.  The just-harvested, seeded, sweet watermelon from Great Joy Farm.

5. The Rosé Lemonade from The Spirits Lab, which could be Barbie’s signature drink. Annie’s Ginger Elixir, which should be Barbie’s official drink of choice! 

6. The glistening fresh ahi tuna at Pura Vida Fishery.

7. The beet ravioli or spaghetti at La Trafila Pasta.

8. Raspberry lemon tea from Teagevity. Buy some to drink at the market and a bag to brew at home.

9. Raspberry sandwich cookies from Eltee’s Goods.

10. Breast Cancer Awareness juice at Freshly Made, made with beets, ginger and rosy grapefruit.
